PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Punkhole Meek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Scyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meek comes to the cage accompanied by renegade. Gabriel Scyler told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scyler fails to land with a series of punches.
Meek dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Scyler. That did some damage!
Scyler blocks a head kick by Meek.
Meek shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scyler but Scyler pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Scyler swats away the attempt to clinch by Meek.
Meek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Scyler's waist but Scyler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Meek off to one side.
Meek shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Punkhole Meek. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Meek has a takedown stuffed.
Scyler throws a good cross that connects.
A slow jab from Scyler misses its intended target.
Meek tries to clinch up.
Decent striking displayed by Scyler there.

It looks like Punkhole Meek has been cut.
Meek shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scyler but Scyler pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Scyler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scyler leaves Meek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Meek shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scyler but Scyler pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Scyler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Meek takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Meek shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Scyler as he jumps to the side.
Meek is breathing heavily.
Scyler stuffs the takedown.
Scyler connects with a body shot that sends Meek's belly button to the back.
Scyler changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Scyler lands a left and a right that send Meek crashing to the mat, dazed. Scyler thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Meek is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Meek. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Meek is aggressively charging in as Scyler backs up avoiding any damage. Scyler tosses out a jab and Meek runs right into it face first! Meek is out cold! Scyler dropped down on all fours and is barking in Meek's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
