The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wex looks to land a right hand but Manevski moved out of range.
Manevski ducks right into an uppercut from Wex.

It looks like Goran Manevski has been cut.
Wex misses with a leg kick.
Sloppy strikes from Wex. Those never looked like landing.
Manevski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Manevski connects with a nice short shot to Wex's temple.
Manevski wants to pass the guard but Wex is defending well.
Wex on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wex tries to get out of the position.
Wex makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wex.
Wex looking to hit a scissor sweep but Manevski is one step ahead there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wex fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Wex bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Manevski's head.

Wex fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Manevski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Manevski wants to clinch up but Wex keeps it at a distance.

Wex lands a left and a right that send Manevski crashing to the mat, dazed. Wex thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Manevski is rocked!

Manevski takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Manevski is still on wobbly legs! Can Wex finish him?

Wex lands a big uppercut and Manevski crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Manevski looks OK. Wex waves Manevski back to his feet!
