Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Davis Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus comes to the cage accompanied by "Princes of the Universe," by Queen. Davis Marcus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillon ducks under a wild hook from Marcus.
Marcus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dillon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Marcus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
George Dillon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marcus works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dillon doesn't manage to clinch there - Marcus circles away.

Dillon misses with a takedown attempt - Marcus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A lazy left from Marcus finds it's target.

Horrible takedown by Dillon or perhaps it was just good defense by Marcus which made him look bad.
Davis Marcus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Dillon.

Marcus lands a jab to Dillon's midsection.
Dillon is trying desperately to land a takedown but Marcus is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Dillon.
Marcus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Dillon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marcus pinned against the cage. Marcus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Marcus fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice sprawl there from Marcus as Dillon shoots in.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dillon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dillon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marcus as he jumps to the side.
Dillon slips a straight right by Marcus.
Marcus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dillon.
Marcus ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Marcus lands a head kick that stumbles Dillon and the fighters go to the mat.
Dillon has his hands on Marcus's head, controlling the position.
Marcus tries to stand but Dillon is controlling from the bottom.

Marcus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dillon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Marcus has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Marcus tries to free his leg and advance position but Dillon is retaining full guard.
Dillon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dillon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dillon tries to clinch up.
Marcus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dillon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dillon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dillon doesn't manage to clinch there - Marcus circles away.
Marcus lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Marcus drops Dillon with a big left hand! Dillon is injured, injured bad! Marcus jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Davis Marcus!
