Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hacky Sack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyon Du (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sack comes to the cage accompanied by Sweet home alabama. The crowd seem to be enjoying Du's choice of entrance music: Du Hast. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lyon Du!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sack thows a left - swing and a miss!

Sack tries to sprawl but Du drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Du stops Sack from getting back to his feet.
Du looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Du trying to control from half guard but Sack is working away.
Du not doing much here.
Sack is trying to stand up here but Du is controlling him well.
Sack is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Du throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Du avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Du closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Du looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Du is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sack is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Du moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Du working the head with strikes.
Sack pushes Du away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Du gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Du tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Du has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Du has an Americana. Sack didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Du is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Du hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
