The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Synephrine looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Synephrine is looking to clinch.

Andrade scores with a takedown into Synephrine's guard.
Synephrine looking for a sweep. Not yet Synephrine, not yet.
Synephrine keeping moving, preventing Andrade from controlling successfully.
Synephrine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andrade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Andrade missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Synephrine lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Andrade!
Andrade tries to lock up and control but Synephrine gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Andrade is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Synephrine's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Synephrine's back!

Andrade controlling the position well here. Synephrine rolled but Andrade kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Andrade has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Andrade has one arm under Synephrine 's neck. Synephrine is controlling the other arm well. He's just looking to survive right now. Andrade manages to get his arm free though and Synephrine is in a world of trouble! Andrade sinks in the hooks and squeezes! Synephrine turns purple and then goes limp. The referee steps in to end the bout!
