Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between AMRAN AZOM (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pool Loop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pool Loop will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loop throws a big shot that misses.

AZOM shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loop but Loop pushes him off and we're back to square one.

AZOM throws a sloppy head kick and Loop moves out of range easily.
AZOM looks for a takedown but Loop sprawls well.

Loop had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. AZOM is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Loop Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take AZOM's back instead.

AZOM might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Loop has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, AZOM has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Loop is not going to allow AZOM to sit and survive in this position.

Loop is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Loop is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Loop looking to break AZOM's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. AZOM remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Loop will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
AZOM rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

AZOM is trying to control but can't.
It looks like Loop is going to stand back up.

Loop decides to stand up.
Loop stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Loop connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and AZOM counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Loop manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Loop cracks AZOM with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pool Loop dominated that round.

Oh AZOM is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
AZOM avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Loop in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
AZOM looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

AMRAN AZOM seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Loop pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Loop might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Loop connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
AZOM moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Loop fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops AZOM to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! AZOM looks to clinch but Loop throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! AZOM taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
