Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billiary Sclerosis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smash Spring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Billiary Sclerosis has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billiary Sclerosis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Smash Spring!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spring shoots in and drives through. Sclerosis sprawls well.
Sclerosis looks to land a combination but Spring avoids it well.
Spring is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Spring.
Sclerosis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Spring shoots in but no luck this time.
Billiary Sclerosis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Smash Spring.
Sclerosis is looking to slow Spring down with leg kicks.

Spring fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sclerosis sprawls well initially but Spring persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spring performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Spring wants to pass to mount but Sclerosis is defending the position.
Spring trying to control the pace.
Spring's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Smash Spring hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Spring dives in and grabs Sclerosis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sclerosis pushes down on Spring's head and hops out.
Sclerosis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Spring.
Sclerosis cracks the inside of Spring's front leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Spring misses with a takedown attempt - Sclerosis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sclerosis looks for the body kick but Spring saw that one coming.

Spring looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Spring is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Spring tries to pass to full mount but Sclerosis defends it.

Spring sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Smash Spring has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Sclerosis misses with a head kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Spring is defended easily by Sclerosis.
Billiary Sclerosis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sclerosis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sclerosis wants it to stay on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sclerosis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Spring.

Spring feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Spring engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Sclerosis is breathing heavily.
Sclerosis can't keep his opponent in guard - Spring advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Spring stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Smash Spring dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Sclerosis turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sclerosis enables Spring to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sclerosis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Spring looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Let's hope that Spring has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Smash Spring.

Spring shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sclerosis's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spring looking to pass the guard.
Spring slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Spring takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Smash Spring.

Spring closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sclerosis to the mat! Sclerosis manages to get full guard.
Spring forces his way into half guard.
Sclerosis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Spring is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Smash Spring showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Spring bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Spring controlling the position from side mount.
Spring works to advance to full mount. Sclerosis defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Spring takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Smash Spring was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Spring shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sclerosis's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Smash Spring comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Spring winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
