The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weston throws a head kick but Ali moves out of range.
Weston tries to clinch up but Ali circles away and keeps his distance.
Ali cracks Weston with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Weston swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ali throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Weston changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ali tries to avoid it but Weston manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ali to the ground. Ali escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ali fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Weston on the side of the head.
Ali scores with a nice strike.
Ali lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Weston takes one on the button.
Muhammad Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ali scores with a body shot.
Weston throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Weston misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Weston throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ali.
A big left from Ali misses.
Ali throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Weston stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Weston just misses with a punch to the body.

Ali circles away from the clinch attempt.
Weston shoots in for a double leg but Ali sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Weston. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ali throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Weston. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Weston is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ali connects with a superb combination that knocks Weston out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Ali before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Weston!
