PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Destruction (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoishi Uzomaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destruction is looking to clinch but Uzomaki is avoiding it.
Max Destruction seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Destruction tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Uzomaki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Uzomaki on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Destruction. Destruction obviously looking to wear him down.

Uzomaki scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Uzomaki is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Destruction pushes Uzomaki away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Uzomaki gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Destruction using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Uzomaki has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Destruction manages to break the clinch.
Uzomaki shoots in for a takedown but Destruction shows good takedown defense.
Max Destruction has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoishi Uzomaki.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Destruction lands a right hand that snaps the head of Uzomaki backwards.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Destruction creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Uzomaki sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Uzomaki shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Destruction clinches up with Uzomaki and pushes him back against the ropes.
Destruction lands a left hand that snaps the head of Uzomaki backwards.
Destruction gets through Uzomaki's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Destruction is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Destruction pushes Uzomaki back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Destruction lands an elbow inside that Uzomaki shrugs off.
Destruction throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Uzomakis head.

Yoishi Uzomaki's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Destruction breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
