Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thunder Struck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Struck's choice of entrance music: Thunderstruck. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Struck blocks a head kick by Knight.
Knight fails with a takedown attempt.
Knight takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Struck lands a jab-cross combination.
Knight avoids a kick to the body.
Struck throws a leg kick which misses Knight's front leg but catches the back leg as Knight tries to avoid it.
A lazy left from Struck finds it's target.
Knight shoots in looking for a takedown but Struck manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Knight's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That kick from Struck tenderised Knight's leg. Knight is trying to keep his angry face on.
Struck throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Knight.

Knight bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Struck's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Struck lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd cheers as Struck lands an impressive looking overhand right. Knight doesn't seem phased though.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Knight. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Knight is breathing heavily.
Struck feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Knight's calf.
Knight takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Knight on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Knight is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Knight chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Struck can pounce on him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Struck cracks Knight with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Struck is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Knight had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Oh Knight is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Thunder Struck seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Struck ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Knight out cold! The fight is over!
