Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Flannery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fabio Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flannery keeps the fight on the outside.
Dos Santos throws a low kick but it's checked well by Flannery.

Flannery scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Flannery decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Flannery pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fabio Dos Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Flannery closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dos Santos did well to prevent Flannery getting side control.

Flannery seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dos Santos for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dos Santos avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Flannery.
Flannery moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Dos Santos is trying to get back to his feet.

Dos Santos gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Flannery to score an easy takedown into full guard.

It looks like William Flannery has been cut.
Dos Santos dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Flannery. That did some damage!
Horrible takedown by Flannery or perhaps it was just good defense by Dos Santos which made him look bad.
Dos Santos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Flannery sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dos Santos somewhat.

Dos Santos wants to clinch up but Flannery keeps it at a distance.

Flannery closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Flannery lands in his opponent's guard.

Flannery decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Flannery wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dos Santos keeps working.

William Flannery has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Dos Santos throws a head kick but Flannery moves out of range.
Flannery shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dos Santos but Dos Santos pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dos Santos closes the distance but Flannery moves to the side
and Flannery counters with a big head kick but Dos Santos shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Flannery wants to control from the top but Dos Santos keeps moving.

William Flannery overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
You can see the frustration on Flannery's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Flannery wants to control but Dos Santos postures up.
