Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between carlo recto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duran throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. recto was covering up waiting for the punch and Duran finishes the takedown easily into guard.
recto wants to get back to his feet but Duran is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Duran trying to control but recto is working from the bottom.
Duran looking to pass the guard.
recto utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Duran wants to control from the top but recto keeps moving.
Duran trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
recto is looking to stand up but Duran isn't so interested in that idea.

Duran moves into the clinch.

Duran has dropped down and is working for a takedown. recto is trying to keep an underhook but Duran manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Duran throwing shots but recto is blocking nicely.
recto on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if recto tries to get out of the position.
Duran frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
recto tries to hold on but Duran postures up.
recto wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Duran.

Duran moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, recto has worked his arm free - good work by recto!
recto dodges the ground and pound from Duran.
recto tries to escape but Duran is in control.
recto tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Duran thowing shots but they're missing.
Duran throwing strikes here but recto is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Duran looking for a guillotine from mount but recto is having none of it.

Duran swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and recto is now in Duran's guard. A big mistake from Duran there, giving up the dominant position!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Duran is on top in guard.

recto pushes Duran off and scrambles back to his feet.

Duran drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Duran slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Duran postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Duran throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Duran is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. recto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Duran gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. recto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Duran lets go of the hold and recto can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ren Duran!
