Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kyle Woopass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hash Ishe!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishe scores with a one two! Woopass had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Ishe clinches with his opponent.

Ishe manages to break the clinch.
Ishe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ishe misses with a series of wild punches.

Ishe clinches.
Woopass drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ishe gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ishe scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Woopass tries to score a body lock takedown but Ishe shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Ishe is pressed up against the ropes. Woopass has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ishe down to the mat. Ishe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Woopass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ishe slaps away a takedown attempt from Woopass, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Woopass shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ishe is trying to defend but Woopass finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ishe pushes Woopass off and gets back to his feet.
Ishe scores with a decent looking hook.

Ishe shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ishe was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ishe stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Ishe lands a nice hook to Woopass's body. Woopass takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Woopass gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ishe to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Woopass has an active guard here but Ishe has managed to pass into half guard.

Woopass misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Ishe moves nicely into side control.
Woopass is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Ishe has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ishe decides to stand back up. Ishe steps back and let's Woopass get back to his feet.
Woopass stuffs the takedown attempt from Ishe. Ishe gets slowly back to his feet.
Ishe misses with a jab, cross combination.

Woopass shoots in and gets a takedown into Ishe's guard.

Woopass drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ishe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Woopass has Ishe in his guard.

Ishe slips nicely into half guard.
Woopass wants to get back to his feet.
Ishe wants to pass to mount but Woopass is defending the position.
Woopass tries to get to full guard but Ishe has control of the leg.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ishe takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Woopass preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Ishe seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Woopass is looking to improve his position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Woopass is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ishe pulls his head out easily.

Woopass looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Ishe pushes past his half guard into mount!

Ishe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Woopass.

Woopass is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ishe off and has taken his back!

Woopass looking to break Ishe's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ishe remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Woopass will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Ishe has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Hash Ishe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Woopass is looking for a sweep. Ishe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kyle Woopass is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Ishe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Woopass sneaks back into half guard.

Ishe seems to be working for a kimura but Woopass defends the submission attempt.
Woopass is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Woopass makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Woopass.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Woopass working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ishe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ishe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hash Ishe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ishe tries to sprawl but Woopass drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Woopass is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Woopass is just content to waste time from the top position. Ishe takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Ishe pulls Woopass in close to prevent any damage.

Woopass has gone for a leg lock! Ishe slips out almost immediately though and dives into Woopass's guard.

Ishe is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Woopass jumps guard but Ishe stands there with Woopass around his waist. Woopass gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Woopass enables Ishe to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Woopass manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well Ishe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
