Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brundon Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Kaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaz throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Matthews swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kaz tries to clinch up.
Kaz moves in looking to clinch but Matthews pushes him off.
Matthews showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kaz.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Matthews keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kaz's efforts to push away.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Kaz wants to break the clinch but can't.
Matthews has picked Kaz up - he's going for a ride! Matthews dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Matthews's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Matthews uses his free foot to push down on Kaz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kaz.

Kaz is trying to stand.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Matthews looking to control and managing it successfully.
Matthews is working for a guillotine from mount but Kaz frees his head quite easily.
Matthews working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Kaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matthews. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Matthews closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kaz did well to prevent Matthews getting side control.
Kaz is kicking away at Matthews from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Matthews grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Kaz trying to push Matthews off... Kaz taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
