The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guy is defended easily by Lockridge.
Guy shoots in for a double leg but Lockridge sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Guy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lockridge pinned against the cage. Lockridge gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
