Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stan Butters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Harjan Varsi!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varsi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Varsi throws a series of punches but Butters moves out of range.
Butters shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Varsi but Varsi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Butters bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Varsi is being controlled here.
Butters prevents Varsi from escaping the position.
Varsi striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Varsi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Butters. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Butters wants to lay and pray for a moment but Varsi keeps working.

Butters looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Varsi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Butters asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Varsi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Butters wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Butters is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Varsi is trying to escape and Butters transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Varsi is forced to tap! Nice work there by Butters! Very nice indeed!
