Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raaka Arska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michel Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arska thuds a left hand into Torres's body.

Torres gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Arska connects with a nice short shot to Torres's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arska is taking a breather. Torres says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Arska sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Torres's guard.

Arska is stalling here. Torres is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Arska seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Torres has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
