The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lim tries to score with a low kick but Shimada moves his leg out of the way.
Shimada missing with a left hand there. Lim was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Shimada throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shimada moves out of range of the body kick.
Lim lands with a good body shot.
Shimada takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Kanbei Shimada has been cut.

Shimada closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lim did well to prevent Shimada getting side control.
Lim trying to hold on to Shimada's head to control him but Shimada postures up.
Lim wants to get back to full guard but Shimada has passed into side control.
Lim is desperately trying to improve his position but Shimada has a good base and remains in mount.
Lim tries to hold on but Shimada pushes him away.

Shimada has isolated one of Lim's arms. Lim looking to fight him off but Shimada twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
