Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse James!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, James creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

James's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

James wants the takedown. Skate is fighting it off but James persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Skate's guard against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Skate looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! James has picked Skate up and slammed him! Skate can't keep hold of the triangle and James manages to pass to side control!

James is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Skate's shoulder. That is not cool.

Skate wants to hold on but James pushes him away.
James lands with some strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

James goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Skate is on top in guard.
James is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesse James dominated that round.
That's time! Skate's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Skate keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Nice combo by James! Oh, that's hurt him - Skate falls to the canvas and James follows him into side control.


Skate is rocked!


It looks like Nate Skate has been cut.
James scores with punches from side control.
Oh Skate is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
James scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Skate is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and James can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesse James!
