Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Queriza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satoru Nakano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Satoru Nakano!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queriza looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Queriza slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Queriza trying to control but Nakano is working from the bottom.
Queriza seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Paul Queriza has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Queriza gets control of Nakano's arms and successfully pulls guard. Queriza will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Queriza will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Nakano is fighting to break Queriza's control of his arms but Queriza is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Queriza looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nakano is one step ahead there.
Queriza wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Queriza misses with a takedown attempt - Nakano sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Nakano wants to get back to his feet but Queriza is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Nakano throws a one two combo.
It looks like Paul Queriza has been cut.
Queriza is breathing heavily.

Queriza doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nakano counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Queriza to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Nakano!
