Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vitaly Kanashkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Dragov!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanashkin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dragov scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Vitaly Kanashkin has been cut.
Kanashkin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dragov.
Kanashkin throws an overhand right that lands on Dragov's shoulder, as Dragov tries to avoid the shot.
Kanashkin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dragov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kanashkin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dragov is in Kanashkin's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dragov lands a couple of digs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dragov postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Kanashkin covers up, he's hurt! Dragov keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Dragov and the ref steps in to end the fight! Dragov can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
