The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaikovskaya shoots in but no luck this time.
Chaikovskaya shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ortiz as he avoids it easily.
Chaikovskaya goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ortiz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Chaikovskaya eats them both and turns towards Ortiz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Vyacheslav Chaikovskaya has been cut.
Chaikovskaya takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ortiz lands a jab to the nose.
Chaikovskaya avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ortiz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Ortiz closes the distance and clinches.

Ortiz jumps guard and drags Chaikovskaya to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
