Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silva Dodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miha Safin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Safin gets caught flat footed, as Dodo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dodo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Dodo won't allow Safin to sweep him here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva Dodo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Dodo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Safin moves away.
Safin works the jab nicely.

Dodo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Safin for as long as he can get away with.

Safin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dodo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dodo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dodo!
