Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between beej dem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Macho Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dem comes into the arena with born unknown blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dem stuffs the takedown attempt from Savage. Savage gets slowly back to his feet.
Savage shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with dem but dem pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Savage throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
dem connects with a crisp jab.
Savage avoids the head kick by dem.
dem takes one to the chin there.
Savage misses with a looping left.
dem closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Savage on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Savage thows a body shot but no joy.
dem takes a jab right on the kisser.
No joy there for dem, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
dem throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Savage uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before dem has time to react.

dem lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Savage circles away quickly and effectively.
dem misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Macho Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
dem scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
