Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Zipper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zipper comes to the cage accompanied by Domination. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez throws a nice inside leg kick.
Martinez tries to clinch but Zipper moves out of range.
Zipper moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zipper bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Martinez's head backwards.
Martinez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zipper lands a head kick!
It looks like Jose Martinez has been cut.
Martinez blocks a head kick by Zipper.
Martinez clinches.
Martinez turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Zipper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Martinez has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Zipper fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martinez, pushing him back against the cage.
Zipper wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Zipper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Zipper wants to control but Martinez is keeping him busy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Martinez prevents Zipper from getting the reversal.

Zipper could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Zipper is bucking up trying to escape but Martinez cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Zipper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zipper tries to get out of the position.

Martinez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Zipper gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Martinez.
Martinez tries for a takedown but Zipper manages to get underhooks.
Zipper is pushing Martinez up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Zipper misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Martinez.
Martinez tries to score a body lock takedown but Zipper shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Buddy Zipper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Martinez.

Zipper wants to break the clinch but can't.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Martinez lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Zipper has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Zipper and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Martinez tries a head kick but it misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Martinez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Zipper is looking to clinch but Martinez is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jose Martinez will probably get the nod.

That's time! Zipper's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Martinez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Zipper is looking to control Martinez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zipper avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zipper misses with a kick to the body.
Martinez connects with a solid leg kick.
Zipper shoots and misses
and Martinez counters with a three punch combo that has Zipper backing up. Zipper nods at Martinez to acknowledge the strikes.

Martinez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zipper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Martinez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zipper can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Martinez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zipper's guard.

Zipper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martinez on the ground.
Martinez drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Martinez seems to have locked his on tight now - Zipper screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Martinez, as he picks up the win!
