Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Dweller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Skinner will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Dweller!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Skinner!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Skinner.

Dweller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Skinner to the mat! Skinner manages to get full guard.
Dweller showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Skinner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dweller's guard.

Skinner is pushing down on Dweller's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dweller is fighting to maintain full guard but Skinner has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dweller is pulling down on Skinner's head. It's preventing any offense from Skinner, at least for the moment.
Dweller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Skinner lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Skinner controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Dweller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Skinner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Skinner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Skinner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dweller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Skinner postures up.
Skinner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Skinner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dweller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dweller wants to sweep here but Skinner controlling him for the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Skinner moves into range and clinches up with Dweller.

Dweller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Skinner uses from the top position.
Skinner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Skinner wanted to stand there but Dweller had control of the position.

Dweller pulls Skinner in close to prevent any damage.
Skinner slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Skinner stands up and waves to Dweller to follow him.
Dweller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Dweller clinches up against the cage.
Skinner jumps guard but Dweller stands there with Skinner around his waist. Skinner gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Skinner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dweller just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dweller will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Skinner up against the cage.

Skinner drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dweller pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mike Dweller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Skinner.
Dweller shoots in and drives through. Skinner sprawls well.

Skinner stands up and waves to Dweller to follow him.

and Skinner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Skinner is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Dweller keeps control of the position for the meantime.

and Skinner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dweller's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Skinner stuffs the takedown attempt from Dweller. Dweller gets slowly back to his feet.

Dweller drives through and clinches with Skinner against the cage.
Skinner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dweller just stands there and leans against the cage.
The is referee keeping an eye on Dweller - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Dweller wants to get up but he can't break Skinner's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Dweller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Skinner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dweller.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

and Skinner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dweller's guard now.
Dweller is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Dweller lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Skinner!
Dweller tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Bobby Skinner.
I've got Skinner winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
