Nice sprawl there from Chase as tibbs shoots in.
tibbs forces Chase back against the cage and clinches.
tibbs jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chase wants to stand and escape but instead tibbs has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
tibbs advances position into side control!
tibbs looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
tibbs thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
tibbs has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Chase is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. tibbs yanks on the arm and Chase is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by tibbs.
