The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Hardy.
Iourarm takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Iourarm takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hardy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Iourarm fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hardy lands a jab to the nose.
A lazy left from Hardy finds it's target.

Iourarm is rocked!
Iourarm shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hardy sprawls well. Hardy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Iourarm gets slowly back to his feet.

Iourarm is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hardy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Iourarm looks up at the clock and then as Hardy takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Iourarm smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Hardy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Iourarm on the ground.
Iourarm connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hardy some visible discomfort.

Iourarm swings around for an armbar but Hardy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Iourarm's guard.

Iourarm scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Hardy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Iourarm shoots in looking for a takedown. Hardy tries to sprawl out of it but Iourarm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hardy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hardy is trying to stand back up but Iourarm is controlling him
Iourarm is taking a breather. Hardy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Iourarm tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Iourarm gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hardy.
Iourarm has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Iourarm there as he acknowledges the shot.
Iourarm with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hardy to score with a decent uppercut.
Hardy connects with a crisp jab.

Iourarm throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hardy was covering up waiting for the punch and Iourarm finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Iourarm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Iourarm cracks Hardy with a solid left hand.
Hardy wants to stand but Iourarm is controlling the position.
Eyerip Iourarm has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hardy is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Iourarm dives into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Iourarm advances nicely into full mount.
The referee warns Hardy that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Iourarm cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Iourarm uses his free foot to push down on Hardy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hardy.

Iourarm quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Iourarm but it's paid off an Hardy is forced to tap! Nice work by Iourarm.
