The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tays loads up on a big right hand but Hoffman slips the punch.
Tays fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tays swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tays throws a nice looking combination but Hoffman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tays tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hoffman was well out of range. Poor timing from Tays.
Hoffman throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tays counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hoffman thinking.
Hoffman throws a right and a left that Tays avoids nicely.
Hoffman misses with an uppercut.
John Tays seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tays fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hoffman manages to avoid it.
Tays moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Gunnar Hoffman has been cut.
Hoffman looks to land a combination but Tays avoids it well.
Hoffman walks into a left hand.
A jab from Tays finds it's way through Hoffman's defenses.

Tays throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tays's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hoffman under the eye.
Hoffman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tays wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tays lands with a nice body punch.
Tays throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tays is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hoffman rather than just go for the knockout.
Tays fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Tays fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hoffman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Hoffman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hoffman seems to have got his legs back now.
Tays drops Hoffman with a straight right hand, right on the button! Tays follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
