Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Denton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Starving Child (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starving Child will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Denton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Denton drops back looking for a leg! Child is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Child manages to kick Denton off! Denton jumps back into Child's guard.

Child is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Denton goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Child is on top in guard.

Denton passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Child!

Denton moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Child has worked his arm free - good work by Child!

Denton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Child is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Denton is working to tighten is grip on Child's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Child has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Denton is really squeezing tight and eventually Child passes out! Denton breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
