The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean misses with a double jab.

Dean lands an elbow that stopped Hardcore in his tracks for a moment.
Hardcore jumps guard but Dean stands there with Hardcore around his waist. Hardcore gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Micah Dean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Hardcore.

Hardcore has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Dean has passed into side control.
Dean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hardcore on the ground.

Hardcore fails with the takedown

and Dean decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hardcore's guard.
Hardcore throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Hardcore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dean doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dean manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hardcore is looking to sinch up a triangle. Dean throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hardcore's body to avoid the submission. Hardcore has instead reached around Dean's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hardcore arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
