Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charm Demarsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Rashad Evans enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charm Demarsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rashad Evans!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Demarsh, right into the meat.
Demarsh throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Evans's head.
Evans should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Demarsh cracks Evans with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Demarsh slips a jab and a cross from Evans.
Evans throws a looping overhand right but Demarsh ducks down to avoid it.
Evans tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Evans is looking to clinch but Demarsh is avoiding it.
Demarsh getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Evans misses with a two punch combination.
Demarsh slips a jab and a cross from Evans.
Demarsh throws a nice head kick!
Demarsh lands a high kick to the side of Evans's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Demarsh dives into guard, looking to finish.


Evans is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Demarsh tries to free his leg and advance position but Evans is retaining full guard.
Evans is still in real trouble! Can Demarsh finish him?
Evans wants to stand and escape but Demarsh is having none of it.
Evans seems to have recovered his senses.

Evans uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Evans takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
No joy there for Evans, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans avoids the head kick by Demarsh.
Evans takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Demarsh paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Evans will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Demarsh throws a head kick that half lands.
Demarsh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Evans tries to clinch but Demarsh moves out of range.
A head kick by Evans misses
and Demarsh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Evans looks gassed!
Evans tries to clinch
and Demarsh counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Evans throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Evans takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Demarsh circles away from the clinch attempt

and Demarsh counters with a head kick that drops Evans - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Evans is looking for a sweep. Demarsh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Demarsh is taking a breather. Evans says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Demarsh has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Evans is trying to stand.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Demarsh in particular looking to stall.
Demarsh's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Evans tries to kick Demarsh off but Demarsh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Demarsh connects with a nice short shot to Evans's temple.
Evans looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Evans is looking to escape.
Evans wants to control but Demarsh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Demarsh controlling the pace.
Evans holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evans tries to kick Demarsh off but Demarsh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Evans is trying to get back to full guard.
Evans is trying to stand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Demarsh content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Charm Demarsh just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Demarsh clobbers Evans with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rashad Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Demarsh dodges the punch combination from Evans.
Evans swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Demarsh counters with an outside leg kick.
Evans throws a lazy uppercut
and Demarsh counters with a leg kick.
Evans throws a sloppy head kick
and Demarsh counters with a nice low kick that buckles Evans's knee momentarily.
Evans throws a left and a right that both miss
and Demarsh counters with a nice kick to the body.
Demarsh lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Evans misses with a double jab
and Demarsh counters with a leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A punch combination from Evans misses.
Demarsh tries to land a front kick but Evans steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Evans tries to clinch but Demarsh moves away
and Demarsh counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
A lazy left from Evans finds it's target.
Evans tries to clinch up
enabling Demarsh to counter with a crisp jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charm Demarsh dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Good shot there by Evans.
Evans throws an overhand right that has Demarsh reeling! Evans follows up with a more punches and Demarsh is out cold! This one is all over!
