Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Utah Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Lynch!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lynch paws at him with a jab and circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones shoots for a takedown but Lynch saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Lynch which made him look bad.

Lynch stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lynch wants it to stay on the feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Utah Jones.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
