Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between hak hak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esteban Cordoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, hak hak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Esteban Cordoza!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cordoza avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
hak shoots in for a takedown but Cordoza shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
hak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cordoza tries to avoid it but hak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cordoza to the ground. Cordoza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cordoza gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cordoza lands an elbow just above hak 's eye.


It looks like hak hak has been cut.
Cordoza prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for hak hak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
hak is working for takedown but Cordoza is calmly controlling the position for now.
Cordoza wants to stall.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

hak drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cordoza gets the underhooks and prevents it.

hak changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cordoza fights it off and pushes away nicely.

hak wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cordoza has him pressed against the cage.

hak hak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are getting on Cordoza's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Cordoza is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Cordoza is landing with some decent strikes but hak is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Cordoza stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Cordoza closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. hak did well to prevent Cordoza getting side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cordoza wants to free his trapped foot but hak is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Cordoza wants to lay and pray for a moment but hak keeps working.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cordoza's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Cordoza has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics hak uses from the top position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, hak just misses with a elbow thrown towards Cordoza's brow.

Esteban Cordoza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cordoza has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
