Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Ghirardi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ill Will (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghirardi comes to the cage accompanied by go to sleep. Will has chosen It's Okay-The Game as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ill Will enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Ghirardi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Will rushes Ghirardi and presses him up against the cage.
Will lands an elbow inside.
Will tries to land knees in the clinch but Ghirardi avoids the damage to the body.
Ghirardi leaning against his opponent.
Ghirardi with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Will comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Ghirardi tries to pull guard but Will holds him up against the cage and eventually Ghirardi drops back down to his feet.
Ghirardi jumps guard and drags Will to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Will advances to half guard.
Ghirardi is trying to get back to full guard.
Will seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ghirardi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Will is looking to advance position but Ghirardi won't allow it.
Ghirardi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Will is working away from the top position though.

Will wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ghirardi keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ghirardi wants to get back to full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Will tries to clinch but Ghirardi moves out of range.
Will tries to close the distance and clinch but Ghirardi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Will lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ghirardi is rocked!
Will lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ghirardi's sensitive parts.
Ghirardi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Will's waist but Will gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ghirardi off to one side.
Ghirardi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ghirardi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ghirardi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Will gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Will jumps into guard, dragging Ghirardi to the mat.
Ghirardi drops back looking for a leg! Will is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Will manages to kick Ghirardi off! Ghirardi jumps back into Will's guard.

Will has control of Ghirardi's left arm, preventing Ghirardi from doing any damage.

Will looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ghirardi passes into side control.
Will tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ghirardi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Will is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Will is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Will looks to move to half guard but instead Ghirardi has passed into mount! Damn!
Will is looking to improve his position but Ghirardi isn't that keen on the idea.

Will is squirming around, avoiding Ghirardi's attempts to control the action.
Will wants to hold on but Ghirardi pushes him away.
Ghirardi breaks from Will's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Will is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Ghirardi with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Will is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Will is desperately trying to improve his position but Ghirardi has a good base and remains in mount.
Will regains half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Will missing with punches from the bottom.
Will is trying to get back to full guard.
Will landing a few short strikes.
Will tries to roll over but Ghirardi keeps him under control.
Will gets back to full guard.
Will throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ghirardi escapes and throws Will's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Will manages to get back to half guard.
Will moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ghirardi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Will had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ghirardi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Will Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ghirardi's back instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ill Will dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Will tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ghirardi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Will stuffs the takedown.
Will throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Will drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ghirardi keeping moving, preventing Will from controlling successfully.
Will passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Ghirardi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Will content to control rather than advance.
Will is working for a submission of some sort.
Will trying to control from Ghirardi's half guard. Ghirardi has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Will has gone for a leg lock! Ghirardi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Will's guard.

Will is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Will trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Ghirardi wants to control from the top but Will keeps moving.

Will is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Will is pressing down on Ghirardi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ghirardi is holding on for now.
Will is keen to just control but Ghirardi is a slippery customer.
Will looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Will is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Will stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ghirardi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Will postures up in Ghirardi's guard and throws a big left but Ghirardi blocks it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Will moves into the clinch.
Will makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Ghirardi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Will pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Stalling in the clinch from Will.
with the fighters clinched against the cage, Will creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Will tries to clinch up
and Ghirardi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Will won't be happy with that.
Ill Will has got the better of the ground game so far.
Will is looking for a sweep.

Ghirardi decides to stand back up. Ghirardi steps back and let's Will get back to his feet.
Will tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ghirardi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ill Will seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Will has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ghirardi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Will.
