Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fergus McDugan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDugan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Farfan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Farfan lands in his opponent's guard.

McDugan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McDugan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

McDugan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Farfan.

McDugan leaves Farfan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We're going to have a standup here because Jefferson Farfan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jefferson Farfan.
