Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fernando del Valle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ McGray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). del Valle comes to the cage accompanied by What I Do by Sepultura. McGray has chosen crazy train as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. TJ McGray is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
del Valle scores with a decent looking hook.
del Valle blocks a leg kick.
McGray misses with the combination.
McGray connects with a body shot that sends del Valle's belly button to the back.
McGray throws a right and a left that both miss.
del Valle keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McGray fails to land with a series of punches.
del Valle digs a good body shot into McGray's ribs.
Some wild striking there from McGray.
del Valle pushes McGray away with a front kick.
del Valle avoids a punch combination nicely.
McGray connects with a single shot there.


It looks like Fernando del Valle has been cut.

del Valle forces McGray back against the cage and clinches.

McGray is looking to break free of the clinch but del Valle has double underhooks.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from McGray.

del Valle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McGray is aware though and is defending well.

del Valle looking to control but McGray is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McGray can do anything to dispel that myth.

del Valle lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

del Valle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This has been an exciting period of action!

del Valle is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. McGray can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
del Valle postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McGray looks a forlorn figure.
del Valle wants to control the pace but McGray is squirming around nicely.
McGray tries to hold on but del Valle postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGray is bucking up trying to escape but del Valle cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

del Valle has control of McGray's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McGray regains control of the situation pretty easily.

McGray wants to hold on but del Valle pushes him away.
del Valle has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of McGray's face.

del Valle throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! McGray has his hands clasped together but del Valle breaks the hold and McGray is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by del Valle!
