Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heath Ledger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Kirby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledger moves out of range as Kirby strikes.
Ledger takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Oooooh!!! Kirby has knocked Ledger down with a huge combo! Kirby steps away and waves a wobbly Ledger back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Heath Ledger has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ledger gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ledger slips a jab and a cross from Kirby.
Nice takedown defense from Kirby. No joy for Ledger on that attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ledger.
Ledger doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kirby stuffs the takedown attempt from Ledger. Ledger gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heath Ledger. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ledger is breathing heavily.
Kirby lands with a cross.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ledger. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Kirby cracks Ledger's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Ledger slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Kirby can do further damage! This one is done, son!
