PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kab Kaynon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kab Kaynon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Frank Jackson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaynon wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance.
Kaynon throws a nice looking combination but Jackson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kaynon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jackson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Kab Kaynon has been cut.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kaynon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackson did well to prevent Kaynon getting side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kaynon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Kaynon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet.

Jackson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kaynon sprawls well initially but Jackson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kab Kaynon wasn't active enough on the ground.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kab Kaynon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Jackson.
I think Kaynon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
