Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Liddell. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Silva misses with a wild body shot.
Liddell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Liddell throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Liddell wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Liddell is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round but I would say that Ramoan Silva will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Liddell's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Liddell is trying to stand up here but Silva is controlling him well.

Liddell is staying active underneath Silva, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Silva is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Liddell is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Silva won't let Liddell get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Rich Liddell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Silva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ramoan Silva.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Silva, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
