The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boban misses with a straight left.
le fay dives in and grabs Boban's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boban pushes down on le fay's head and hops out.

swg le fay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
le fay throws the left hand but Boban avoids the punch easily.
Boban finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

le fay throws a jab but it's blocked by Boban.
le fay will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
le fay drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boban wants to clinch up but le fay keeps it at a distance.

Good leg kick by Boban there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
le fay throws a lazy right hand but Boban sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

le fay throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boban's waist but Boban gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing le fay off to one side.
le fay is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boban sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
le fay throws a lazy right hand but Boban sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Boban.

le fay is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Boban tries to sprawl but le fay drives through with a takedown into half guard.
le fay with the ground and pound but Boban uses the opportunity to regain guard.
le fay is fighting to break Boban's control of his arms but Boban is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Boban has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Boban knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for le fay on the ground.

le fay drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. le fay seems to have locked his on tight now - Boban screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for le fay, as he picks up the win!
