Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Mahayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Vos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vos misses with a series of wild punches.
Vos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mahayev manages to avoid it.
Mahayev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vos.
Vos misses with an uppercut.
Vos doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vos thows a body shot but no joy.
Mahayev tries to bum rush Vos with a series of wild strikes but Vos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mahayev scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vos doesn't seem bothered though.
Mahayev connects with a looping right hand.
Vos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mahayev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd cheers as Mahayev lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vos doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Vinny Vos has been cut.
Mahayev lands with a hook. Vos tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Vos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mahayev jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mahayev feints a jab promting Vos to slip. Mahayev then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Vos slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Vos tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Mahayev fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mahayev uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vos has time to react.

Mahayev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vos is still on wobbly legs! Can Mahayev finish him?

and Mahayev counters with a huge left! Vos is in big trouble! He's backing up but Mahayev isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Vos from any more damage. A dominating finish by Mahayev!
