Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smash Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morris comes to the cage accompanied by Neodammerung. Machine is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by In The Morning. On his way into the cage it seems that Terry Morris has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Terry Morris seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Smash Machine!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine throws a body punch but Morris moves out of range.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Machine.
Morris is trying to escape the position but Machine is controlling the position.
Machine has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Morris!
Machine tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Machine thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Morris is looking to get to half guard.

Machine lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morris is squirming around, avoiding Machine's attempts to control the action.
Machine cracks Morris with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Morris is trying desperately to improve position.
Machine with shots to the head and body - Morris looks very uncomfortable down there.
Machine wants to control the pace but Morris is squirming around nicely.

Machine wants to control the action but instead Morris gets a body lock and reverses into Machine's guard! Nice work!
Machine has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Morris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Morris enables Machine to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Morris manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Machine is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Machine loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Machine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Morris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Machine with a flurry of punches that miss.
Machine throws a strike but Morris rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Machine is adopting a defensive guard.
Machine is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Machine seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Machine utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Smash Machine has got the better of the ground game so far.
Machine working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Morris.
Morris throws a big right hand that misses.
Machine is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Morris's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Machine looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Smash Machine wasn't active enough on the ground.
Morris has his takedown stuffed
and Machine counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Morris gets a clinch.
Morris tries to circle away but Machine has him pinned against the cage.
Machine has hold of one of Morris's legs. Morris is fighting the takedown attempt but Machine gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Machine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morris is keeping the position for now.
Morris manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Machine manages to get himself to full guard.

Machine is looking to stand up but Morris isn't so interested in that idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Machine kicks Morris off and gets to his feet.

and Machine counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Machine lands with a nice body punch.
Morris slips a jab from Machine.
Machine closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Machine prevents Morris from improving his position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Machine has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Machine looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Smash Machine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Morris shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Machine misses with an uppercut.
Machine throws a hook but Morris avoids it easily.
Morris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Machine looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Machine trying to control the position from guard on top but Morris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Machine passes Morris's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Machine tries to pass the half guard into mount. Morris knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Morris is refusing to be controlled, as Machine sits in half guard.
Morris wants to get back to full guard.
Machine tries to pass to full mount but Morris defends it.

Smash Machine is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Machine perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Morris is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Machine performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Smash Machine wasn't active enough on the ground.
Morris tries for a takedown but Machine circles away easily
and Machine connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Morris swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Machine counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Morris's guard now.
Machine seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Machine won't allow Morris to sweep him here.
Machine's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Morris looking to control.
Machine not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Machine decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Machine content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Machine is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Morris!

Smash Machine comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Machine winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
