The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kochergin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Boy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kochergin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Boy counters with a straight right hand.
Kochergin misses with a shot to the body
and Boy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boy shoots in for a takedown but Kochergin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kochergin moves to clinch but Boy breaks away
and Boy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Boy in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kochergin tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Boy!
