The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kucenko takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nice jab there from Pugacheva.

It looks like Gosha Kucenko has been cut.
Kucenko tries a head kick but it misses.
Pugacheva dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kucenko looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pugacheva stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Pugacheva drops his shoulder and cracks Kucenko with a huge uppercut! Kucenko goes down! Can Pugacheva finish him?

Kucenko is rocked!

That has opened up Gosha Kucenko's cut even more.

Pugacheva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kucenko is still in real trouble! Can Pugacheva finish him?
Pugacheva passes into half guard.
Kucenko seems to have recovered his senses.
Pugacheva wants to take a breather but Kucenko is having none of it.
Pugacheva moves nicely into side control.

Pugacheva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kucenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Pugacheva decides to take the fight back to the feet.

The cut above Gosha Kucenko's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Pugacheva lands a glancing blow to the side of Kucenko's head.

Gosha Kucenko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Pugacheva scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gosha Kucenko's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
