The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
peter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Little as he jumps to the side.
Little leaves peter with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
peter shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for peter peter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
peter stuffs the takedown.
peter throws a head kick that Little semi-blocks.
peter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Little avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
peter doesn't manage to clinch there - Little circles away.

Little throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. peter was covering up waiting for the punch and Little finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. peter connects with a nice short shot to Little's temple.
Little is trying to stand up here but peter is controlling him well.

Little takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

peter shoots in looking for a takedown. Little tries to sprawl out of it but peter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Little manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Little content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because peter has locked up a guillotine! peter's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Little is holding on here and peter must be using up a lot of energy. Little has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! peter gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
