Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nikolay Nechvidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horace Oxface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oxface is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Immigraniada by Gogol Bordello. The key to victory for Nikolay Nechvidov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nechvidov shoots in and bounces Oxface off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Oxface has his foot on Nechvidov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nechvidov works his way back into a safe position though.

Oxface is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Nechvidov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Oxface looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nechvidov is one step ahead there.

Oxface is looking for a triangle but Nechvidov pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oxface working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nechvidov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nechvidov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Oxface is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nechvidov is aware though and is defending well.

Oxface isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Nechvidov stacks Oxface on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Nechvidov!

Oxface is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nechvidov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nechvidov's back!
