Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shinji Nishimura!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andersson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nishimura wants to control the action here but instead Andersson manages to pass to full mount!
Nishimura tries to hold on but Andersson pushes him away.
Andersson looking to control and managing it successfully.
Andersson avoids the attempt from Nishimura to control.
Nishimura should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Andersson is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Nishimura is looking to control Andersson but Andersson is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Despite being in the dominant position, Shinji Nishimura just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Nishimura makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nishimura.
Nishimura wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Andersson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Nishimura working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Andersson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Nishimura is tightening it up a little... Andersson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Andersson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Andersson taps out! nice BJJ there by Nishimura!
