The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Dzagoev darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dzagoev moves into range and connects with a jab.
Dzagoev misses the shot to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Dzagoev.
Dzagoev bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fedor's head.

It looks like Dante Fedor has been cut.
Fedor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dzagoev swivels and escapes.
A slow jab from Dzagoev misses its intended target.
Dzagoev throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dzagoev fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fedor keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fedor fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dzagoev misses the shot to the body.

Dzagoev throws out a loose jab but Fedor uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fedor keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dzagoev.
Alan Dzagoev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dzagoev throws a body punch but Fedor moves out of range.
Dzagoev thuds his right hand into Fedor's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A telegraphed right hand from Dzagoev misses the target.
Fedor gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dzagoev lands a jab to the nose.
Fedor takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dzagoev jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dzagoev cracks Fedor with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Fedor is rocked!
