Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Derek Trumble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trumble kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gonna get you again Gracie!. Derek Trumble has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trumble gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Trumble's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Trumble's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Graham avoids the head kick by Trumble.
Trumble throws a head kick that misses.
A cross from Graham lands.
Graham looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trumble is fending him off so far but Graham persists. Nope, Trumble circles away and we're back to standing.

Trumble clinches with his opponent.

Trumble lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Graham tries to kick Trumble off but Trumble keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Trumble knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Graham on the ground.
Graham is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Trumble wants to stand up but Graham has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Graham is trying to maintain the position but Trumble is very close to passing his half guard.

Trumble decides to stand and escape the position.
Trumble walks into a straight right hand from Graham.
Graham dives in and grabs Trumble's left leg, looking for a takedown. Trumble pushes down on Graham's head and hops out.

Derek Trumble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Graham.
Trumble lands with a kick to the temple. Graham shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Trumble counters with an outside leg kick.
Graham looks gassed!

Trumble drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Trumble has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Trumble gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Trumble - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Trumble for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Trumble gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Derek Trumble.
Graham shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Trumble counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Graham's guard now.

Graham scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Trumble pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Graham misses with a takedown

and Trumble counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Trumble.
Trumble has Graham pushed against the cage.
Graham is trying to drag Trumble to the mat but Trumble just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Graham changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Trumble fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Graham throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Trumble makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Trumble closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Graham quickly recovers to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Trumble gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Graham misses with a takedown
and Trumble counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Trumble really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Trumble feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Trumble is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Trumble wants to pass the guard but Graham is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
